MOSAIC Gives Back to New Orleans

As part of it’s continued commitment to give back, MOSAIC Technologies Group engaged in its largest humanitarian effort to date. The extended MOSAIC family descended on “The Big Easy” from April 30th to May 2nd to help Habitat for Humanity rebuild homes and lives still unsettled after being devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.

37 members of Team MOSAIC left their blood, sweat, and tears in the 3 homes we helped build in Jefferson Parrish, Louisiana. Under the direction of our new friends and Habitat employees Terry and Nate, our team worked on every level of the homes, form floor joists to roofs. Terry was kind enough to take us through the hardest hit areas such as the lower 9^th ward and provided us with the history of what has happened since the storms hit.

All who were fortunate enough to share in this experience left tired, but with an amazing feeling of accomplishment and commitment to community.
