Quality Assurance
MOSAIC is dedicated to providing consistent and continuous quality on all of its engagements, to include the SeaPort-e contract. MOSAIC has a defined set of Standard Organizational Processes (SOP) to help standardize service delivery, internal business operations, and corporate decision-making. For this, MOSAIC has implemented a Quality Assurance Program (QAP) that is compliant with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model and the ISO 9001:2008 standard for Quality Management Systems. Our QAP provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives while also ensuring that we satisfy stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Our QAP includes processes used to continuously develop and improve services and work products. We use Quality Planning to establish task-level quality standards and baselines that will be used during performance. Then, during project execution we review and analyze quality by conducting quality audits and taking corrective actions, if necessary, to maintain or improve quality levels. Our QAP process also includes leveraging lessons learned, best practices, and advanced technologies and techniques to ensure that not only have we delivered what the customer required, but that we did so in a manner that was effective and efficient. MOSAIC’s QAP includes the definition and implementation of:
- superior, integrated, and technologically leading-edge solutions
- processes and procedures that enable the application of a Quality Management System (QMS) across all MOSAIC projects, programs, and departments
- sequenced and integrated quality assurance and service delivery processes,
- the criteria and methods necessary to ensure that both the operation and control of quality assurance processes are effective,
- resources and information necessary to support quality assurance processes,
- monitoring, measurement, analyses and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes
- measurable quality objectives and the plans to achieve them
- the resources necessary for MOSAIC employees to effectively perform their duties and deliver high quality services and work products
MOSAIC ensures that the QAP is understood and implemented at all levels of the corporation by distributing and providing training on the quality program. Additionally, MOSAIC provides proactive program and quality management throughout the lifecycle of the project or task as well as implements the QAP on all corporate business processes and functions; quality is built into everything that we do regardless of who we are doing it for… quality services equal quality results.
