SCAMPI Training
In order to perform a SCAMPI Class A appraisal (and even most SCAMPI Class B appraisals and some SCAMPI Class C appraisals), the appraisal team must go through appraisal training to ensure everyone understands the process and their individual roles during the appraisal. This usually requires the SCAMPI appraisal team to go through the Software Engineering Institute’s SCAMPI Appraisal Team Training. This two- to three-day training course covers the appraisal method and simulates many of the activities of the actual SCAMPI appraisal to give the appraisal team experience at performing the activities.
MOSAIC teaches this course in conjunction with a SCAMPI appraisal. We incorporate our Practice Implementation Indicator Description template when desired to show how data is tracked throughout a SCAMPI appraisal.
