Business Case

Have you had trouble selling your ideas to your senior executives using some rather impressive return on investment figures? There could be several reasons for your struggles.

Generally, when asked to make a business case for an effort, people jump immediately to return on investment (ROI) figures. Unfortunately, these figures do not paint the full picture of why the organization needs to address a problem. For instance, these ROI figures tend to be generic and do not describe the actual investment the organization must make. A business case covers more than ROI.

This two-day workshop covers the different parts of a business case, with several exercises aimed at developing an organization-specific business case. By the end of the workshop, the participants will have a nearly-complete, organization-specific business case and possess the skills to develop business cases for other efforts they will lead in the future.
